The illustrations by Sergio Martinez are 
outstanding.  The story is about the Wemmicks,
wooden people carved by the woodcarver, Eli,
who lives on the hill.  They give each other gold
stars, or gray dots.  Punchinello just gets gray 
dots, but finds out he is really special when he 
visits his maker on the hill.  Great for the person
of any age who feels less than perfect.
